Coronation Street's Christmas Day tragedy is going to have repercussions for plenty of characters – something we've discussed here – but now the soap has revealed a new drama for Fiz Stape that could end very badly for her.
In scenes that will air the week after next, police are going to call at Number 9 and question Fiz and Tyrone Dobbs about the gun that Derek used in the shooting, and will ask Gary Windass about the same thing.
They will both give the same story, that the only gun they know about is the one in the antique shop, but we all know that isn't the case, and the actual gun was one Fiz found in a house clearance and gave to Gary.
Tyrone will warn that the truth never stays hidden for long, and lying to the police could land Fiz in a lot of trouble.
January will bring more sadness for Fiz and Tyrone as their kids will be taken into care, thanks to the machinations of nanny Jade Rowan (Lottie Henshall), who is harbouring a dark secret identity.
Coronation Street will air these scenes on Wednesday, January 8 and Friday, January 10 on ITV.
