Coronation Street newcomer Jade Rowan sparks immediate suspicion next week as she's caught behaving shiftily at the Dobbs house.
Show bosses have cast theatre actress Lottie Henshall in the role of Jade, who'll be moving in with Fiz Stape and Tyrone Dobbs later this week.
Jade was Hope's teaching assistant when Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) was living away in Birmingham and she'll now be coming to Weatherfield to help address the youngster's bad behaviour.
One person who isn't a fan of Jade is Tyrone's grandmother Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman). Evelyn questions Jade's motives for coming to the Street and eyes her suspiciously as she serves breakfast for everyone at Number 9.

Later in the day, Evelyn returns home after a trip out and is shocked to find Jade sneakily rifling through the drawers in the living room.

Asked for an explanation, Jade tells Evelyn all about her terrible marriage, insisting that she would never have been able to survive it if it wasn't for her friendship with Fiz.
Jade adds that she was only looking through the drawers to find a photo that she could get framed as a thank-you.

When Fiz returns home, she's taken aback to find Jade pouring her heart out to Evelyn about her abusive ex-husband. Is Jade telling the truth, or spinning a story to cover up a different motive?
Lottie's casting as Jade was first revealed in July, when show insiders hinted that the new character would complicate Fiz and Tyrone's relationship.
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, September 30 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
