Coronation Street has confirmed a surprise new romantic chemistry between Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) and Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon).
The ITV soap will see sparks between the pair fly as both Daniel and his fiancée Sinead Tinker (Katie McGlynn) question whether or not to go ahead with their wedding.
Sinead is hoping to look to the future with Daniel after being diagnosed with cervical cancer last year and later being given the all-clear.
But, for Daniel, it looks like a growing attraction to Bethany may be enough to put a dent in their plans to tie the knot.

New teaser spoilers released on Coronation Street's official website explained: "Things get heated between Bethany and Daniel but will the charged argument leave them in an unexpected situation?

"Later, Sinead tells Daniel that she's scared about getting remarried as it reminds her of when she found out she'd got cancer.
"Daniel suggests they cancel if that's what she wants, but has Sinead spotted a spark between Daniel and Bethany?"

The storyline is set to continue in the coming months, with unconfirmed reports suggesting that Sinead will be leaving the show in heartbreaking scenes.
So, will Bethany be the one Daniel turns to for comfort?
Only time will tell.
