Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has hinted that Sarah Platt and Adam Barlow's romance may already be on the rocks, despite the fact the couple have not long been officially dating.
In an interview inside the latest issue of Inside Soap which is out tomorrow (August 20), Tina revealed "Sarah is going to get a bit fed up" as Adam continues to squabble with her ex-boyfriend Gary Windass.
"Sam and I filmed our first on-screen argument as Adam and Sarah this morning," she told the magazine.

"From her point of view, it's a battle of egos between the two boys, and Adam needs to stop focusing on Gary and concentrate on Sarah," she continued. "So it's going to be quite tricky, and will end up putting a lot of pressure on their relationship."
When asked whether she'd want Sarah to end up with Adam – and potentially go on to see them get hitched – Tina admitted that she'd "love to bring the Barlows and Platts together" as "they're the two big families on the Street."

"But in regards to filming a wedding, it's not as fun as it looks when you're stood there in a dress that you've been wearing for three weeks solid. If Adam and Sarah want to marry, they ought to elope," Tina joked.

As much as she'd be happy to see Sarah settle down with Adam, Tina admitted it was surprisingly emotional to find herself working so closely with someone else other than Mikey North (who plays Gary).
"I was genuinely upset at first – not because I would be working with Sam, but because me and Mikey had worked together for three-and-a-half years – and it really did feel like the end of a relationship," she recalled. "But within seconds of working with Sam, I was like, 'Oh, this will be fine – see ya, Mikey!'"
