Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has opened up about having a second a hair transplant.
The actor, who plays Tyrone Dobbs on the ITV soap, had his first transplant in 2016, and now his scalp has gone under the knife again.
Speaking to The Mirror, he said: “I’ve spoken with so many men who have confidence issues because of their hair, maybe this will let them know they have options. People have it done all the time – it’s not something to be ashamed of."
Halsall had the procedure at the Farjo Hair Institute in Manchester. The company shared an Instagram post of the actor undergoing the transplant, along with the caption: “Anyone recognise our recent hair transplant patient?
“It was great to have Alan come back after being thrilled with the results from his first procedure.”
Jack P Shepherd, who plays David Platt on the cobbles, revealed he's also undergone a hair transplant and defended it as a growing trend amongst men.
