Coronation Street will be revisiting Faye Windass's baby storyline next week when Amy Barlow turns to her for advice.

Amy's life is about to be upside down after she discovers that she's expecting a baby at 14 years old.

Although the schoolgirl is initially reluctant to tell anyone what she's going through, she is forced to confide in her grandmother Liz after a difficult visit to the family planning clinic.

Having been told hat she can't have the abortion pill without discussing it with an adult, Faye goes to Liz for help – but it's not long before her parents Tracy and Steve discover the truth as well.

Unfortunately, things go from bad to worse for Amy shortly afterwards when an ultrasound confirms that she's ten weeks pregnant. This means that Amy would need a surgical termination rather than taking the abortion pill – leaving her horrified.

With Tracy and Steve now on the warpath, a struggling Amy later turns to Faye – who knows all too well about what the teenager is going through.

Fans will know that Faye gave birth to a baby girl back in 2015, when she was just 13 years old – and later decided to give the youngster up for adoption.

As Faye opens up about her experience, it prompts Amy to have a huge change of heart about her own pregnancy, but what has she decided? And how will her family react?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday, January 23 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
