Stressed-out Sharon loses her cool when out investigating a complaint with Paudge. Later that day, the chickens come home to roost when a member of the public makes a formal complaint against her for assault. Following the complaint, McKay orders Sharon to take some time off. Both he and Angela are concerned that Sharon hasn't fully recovered from her attack and they want her to take some time away to recover.
This is the last thing Sharon wants but it's out of her hands. Emotional and exhausted, she prepares for her compulsory sick leave but just as she is about to go, Brian sidles up to her and antagonises her further, suggesting that she is one step away from being gone for good. He knows exactly what buttons to press and this time a frustrated Sharon finally snaps. Much to the surprise of her colleagues, Sharon lashes out at Brian and Paudge is forced to hold her back.
It's the last straw for McKay and once again Sharon is summoned to his office to explain herself. Sharon finally confides in McKay and Angela about what she knows about Brian, but their reaction is not what she was expecting. Bully boy Brian is one step ahead and Sharon is in way over her head.
Meanwhile, Sean and Adrijan are relieved when they receive news that they have been cleared of any wrongdoing in the case of Gerard Curry by GSOC.
