The serial will be set in a police precinct in a fictional harbour town, and is expected to air twice-weekly from January 2015 as a rival to RTÉ's Fair City.
The new stars include Paul Roe, who has previously starred in Kisses, Veronica Guerin and Adam and Paul.

Jane McGrath, who appeared in Game of Thrones season four and has previously been in Black Ice, will also appear in the show.

The casting process began this earlier this month at Dublin's John Player Factory, where two sessions were led by Louise Kiely, who has previously cast up-and-coming Irish actors including Jack Reynor (What Richard Did, Quirke) and the Irish cast on Ripper Street.
