It was a very big Saturday night in Ibiza for me, kicking off with a sunset party at the legendary Café Mambo, which was wicked and as always it was a great turn out.

I played at Mambo before the main man Bob Sinclar then I went across to Pacha for the big 'Paris By Night' party. It was great to share the booth with (in my eyes) the future James Bond – Mr Idris Elba. We had a wicked catch up and he smashed his set too!

I then had a couple of hours sleep before making a mad dash to the airport and catching an early flight back to the UK for the Vodafone Big Top 40 (via a drive through McDonalds – don't judge me we've all been there!)

This week we've had lots of new releases and the first one to enter the chart was at number 26 from American Hip-Hop artist Silento. Now if you don't know the 'Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)' dance yet then you need to check out the video. Remember Soulja Boy's tune 'Crank That'? This track is deffo on that vibe:

The lads from Sigma popped in to see us again on Sunday. They were there for a competition giveaway where they surprised a fan by meeting them and giving them an exclusive on some of their new album material, which sounds wicked. Their debut album is gonna be insane, can't wait to get it!

So it was then into the top ten which we lockdown at 6pm. Last week's number one was 'Drag Me Down' from the One Direction lads and we knew we had two new entries yet to play so could either Rita Ora ft. Chris Brown or Charlie Puth ft. Meghan Trainor knock the lads off of the top spot?!

At number eight we had a brand new entry from… Rita Ora and Chris Brown! I gave Rita a call on Sunday to congratulate her. She was in LA, so it was quite early in the morning, but given the professional she is she was more than happy to have a chat - good old Reets!

She said the collaboration came together as her and Chris had been talking about working together for some time and one day they were in the same studio in LA and it just happened. The video is yet to be released and is meant to be very steamy! 'Body On Me' is a great track, very catchy and no doubt will be climbing the chart over the next couple of weeks, especially after the video is released.

Now we knew we were going to have a brand new number one as after a week on top One Direction slipped to number six with 'Drag Me Down'. So, the battle for the top was between one of the biggest tunes of the summer from Calvin Harris and Disciples with 'How Deep Is Your Love' and the brand new record from Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor 'Marvin Gaye'.

It was very close all the way up until lockdown but we did have a brand new number one from Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor. You may remember Charlie as the singer on Wiz Khalifa's former number one 'See You Again', and this time he's back on top with a lady who is also very used to topping our chart, Meghan Trainor. Congrats to those guys on their collaboration and yet another huge success!

This weekend I'm DJ-ing up in Hull and one track I can't wait to drop is the brand new one from Alex Adair, 'Heaven'. If this tune doesn't make you feel like you're on a beach then I don't know what will, this track is gonna be massive!

Right, I'll be back next week for another huge chart with some big releases on the way, including Jess Glynne's new one. Can she bag her sixth number one record?!

See you next week!
