So it was a huge show on Sunday on the Vodafone Big Top 40! Omi finally went to number one at the top of the month with his anthem 'Cheerleader', and last Sunday it was all about him and the brand new tune from LunchMoney Lewis as to who would take the top spot - but we'll get to that in a bit.

At the top of the show, we had a catch up with Kygo who has had one of the biggest songs in Europe so far this year - 'Firestone'. It features Conrad on vocals, and the tune came about when Conrad sent Kygo the a capella. Kygo said he instantly fell in love with the track and the music just fell into place. Needless to say, it's gone on to be number one in Kygo's native Norway and a huge radio hit here in the UK.

Up next was our first new entry of the day from Swedish DJ/Production duo Galantis. The guys are no strangers to hit records, having produced tunes for the likes of Britney, Kylie, J-Lo, Katy Perry and Madonna – just those small acts, then. However, now they're venturing out by themselves and releasing some big dance tracks. 'Runaway (U & I)' is a wicked tune. They went straight in at number eight and I reckon 100% that it will climb this week as it's already been number one in Holland!

So we still had the big tunes from Jess Glynne, Skrillex, Diplo and Bieber, Blonde, Carly Rae and Wiz taking up the 7th, 6th, 5th, 4th and 3rd spots respectively, but it was all about who was gonna be at the top, between last week's number one from Omi and the huge new entry from LunchMoney Lewis with his super catchy 'Bills'. It was really cool to be fair, because we had both of the guys in to Capital to have a chat about their tunes.

Lunch was such a lovely, lovely guy, especially considering he came to us straight from the airport after flying in from Los Angeles – that's hardcore. He's actually a songwriter who comes from Dr Luke's (Kesha and Katy Perry's producer) camp. He said he went in to the studio one day, Luke played the beat and because he had just moved to LA from Miami, all he could think about were the bills he had to pay. So he literally just started singing about the bills and the track was written immediately. I love stories like that.

Omi also came in to the Capital studio and told us the story behind 'Cheerleader' and the fact that it wasn't even meant to be a single. He first wrote the track in Jamaica as an interlude for his album, then when his label heard it, they were like, 'No, that's a hit! You need to finish it and make it into a proper song!' and thank God he did, as it's now been number one in over fifteen countries. The army was equally a really cool guy and sang live for us in the studio - and he sounded exactly like the record.

So who was at the top? Well, it was VERY tight, but our man Omi made it two weeks at number one. He was over the moon, of course, and it'll be interesting this weekend because it looks like Lunch will overtake him - but we shall see.

While we were in the last thirty minutes of the chart, I had to get changed in between links and then shoot across to the Theatre Royal Drury Lane for the TV BAFTAs. What a fantastic evening. The Voice was nominated for Best Entertainment Programme, which was wicked. We didn't win, but it was genuinely great to be nominated - who knows, maybe it will be our turn next year. The after-party was wicked. I actually DJ'd at the after-party last year, but this year I was able to chill and the Sigma boys did the honours. It was cool to catch up with the lads.

I also filmed Celebrity Juice this week, which is always NUTS! Keith is a good guy, and doing Juice is always just hilarious. I ended up being zipped up in a suitcase and also being in a dog house (somewhere I've been a few times), if you missed the show, you'll have to watch it back to see what I mean. It was also announced this week that I'm hosting/DJ'ing the Pepsi Max Arena at Wireless Festival, which is incredible. It's one of my favourite festivals and I can't wait to be spinning the biggest tunes throughout the weekend. Hopefully see you there!
