I had only been away in Miami for a few days but it felt like I was away for a lot longer! It was an amazing trip - the occasion was a very late 'couple's birthday' weekend away for my 30th.
While our little girl was with the grandparents, Rochelle and I caught up with what Miami had to offer. We went to some fantastic restaurants in Miami - the food really was spot on. The highlight was a steakhouse called Prime 112, Miami Beach - if you ever get out there, it's a must to check out.
One night we got to catch up with Flo Rida. Rochelle knows Flo from when they did a song together, and naturally being the King of Miami he took us to LIV nightclub, which is one of the best nightclubs in the world.
It was a hip-hop night and the place went OFF, loved it. I was so happy this week when I found out Flo is flying in for the Capital Summertime Ball with Vodafone this year. Anyway, enough of my travels before it starts to sound like I work for the Miami Tourist Board.
It was back to business on Sunday at Vodafone Big Top 40 Tower. There were loads of new entries this weekend and the question on everyone's lips was whether or not anyone could knock Wiz Khalifa ft Charlie Puth off of the top spot after two weeks with 'See You Again'.
At number 10 was a brand new entry from Alesso, his new tune 'Cool' featuring Roy English on vocals. It includes a cheeky little Kylie Minogue sample. Still some very strong songs hanging on in the 10 with Jess Glynne's former number one 'Hold My Hand' and Nick Jonas's 'Jealous'.

The highest new entry this week was Carly Rae Jepsen with 'I Really Like You' at number three. That meant that at number one for a third week was Wiz Khalifa ft. Charlie Puth with 'See You Again'.
It's going to be a big weekend coming up on the Vodafone Big Top 40 with special guests M.O in the studio. They're the latest girl group who are being compared to TLC. Plus UK DJ/production duo Blonde are releasing 'All Cried Out', which is a massive tune, and OMI's 'Cheerleader' could take Wiz Khalifa's spot at number one on the chart.
I'm DJ-ing later on Sunday night, bringing in the Bank Holiday weekend playing the very best house music in Hatfield. It's a huge weekend ahead. See you next week.
Tune in to Marvin Humes every Monday to Saturday from 7pm, and every Sunday from 4pm on the Vodafone Big Top 40, on Capital, available on 95-106 FM, DAB digital radio, at capitalfm.com and on the Capital app.
