Denise Richards has opened up about taking ex-husband Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller's two sons Bob and Max into her home.
Richards was granted temporary custody of the twins earlier in May, after child services officials allegedly deemed that Mueller's home was an unsafe environment.
Mueller has since checked into the famous Betty Ford Center for undisclosed issues.
Richards spoke to Us Weekly over the weekend at a Los Angeles event, and was asked how she is coping with taking care of Mueller's children.
"You just figure it out because you don't have a choice. You have these children depending on you," the actress explained. "You prioritize. I had children because I want to be a parent, and I want to be there for them."
She continued: "I think my biggest challenge is [that] their different activities sometimes overlap. I have a good schedule going. You just manage."

Richards also revealed that she has a very good relationship with her ex-husband Sheen these days, despite going through a rough period after their divorce.
"I don't want to have an unhealthy relationship with him, something toxic with a lot of animosity. Life's too short for that," she said.
"We actually enjoy hanging out, and we enjoy being with the kids."
Sheen and Richards were married from 2002 to 2006, and have two daughters together.
