Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan has revealed that although she and footballer Scott Sinclair only got engaged a few months ago, it already feels like it's been "a lifetime" since he proposed.

The couple, who have been together for nine years, welcomed their second daughter Delilah in June this year.

And the newborn has kept them so busy that Scott's Disneyland proposal in May feels like a long time ago.

"Getting engaged feels like a lifetime ago because it's all been so crazy since having Delilah," Helen told OK!. "Even though I knew Scott was going to propose at some point, it was still a total surprise!"

And the actress admits that although they've not booked in their special day yet, she's already feeling pretty prepared.

"We haven't booked anything but we're aiming for next summer," she said. "I'm super girlie and I've dreamt about my wedding since I was young, so I've already been wedding dress shopping!"

Helen also spoke about Delilah's birth, saying that she struggled more than she did during her previous labour with her other daughter Matilda, who's now three.

"My labour went really well although it was much more painful than my first birth," she said. "At points I felt like I was about to explode because the contractions were so intense!

"Delilah's birth was so quick – Scott almost missed it!"

Helen is currently taking a break from her role as Rosie Webster, with fame-hungry Rosie working as a game show host in Japan after her unforgettable This Morning appearance on Corrie earlier this year.
