Huge congratulations are in order for Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, who have got engaged.

The couple confirmed the happy news on Instagram that Brooklyn had proposed a couple of weeks ago, with a picture of them both staring into each other's eyes and Nicola showing off a very large engagement ring. Aww.

Brooklyn captioned the post: "Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx I am the luckiest man in the world.

"I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. I love you baby xx."

His bride-to-be, Bates Motel actress Nicola, wrote that she was the "luckiest girl in the world", adding, "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life by your side. your love is the most precious gift."

Brooklyn, 21, is the oldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, and has reportedly been dating Nicola for around nine months.
