Netflix has just dropped a new trailer for assassin thriller Kate, starring Birds of Prey actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
In the film, Winstead plays Kate, a criminal operative who, after being irreversibly poisoned, has less than 24 hours to exact revenge on her enemies before she dies.
And as the trailer shows, Kate kicks plenty of ass all over Tokyo, as she races against the clock, leaving a trail of bodies behind her.
The film also stars Venom: Let There Be Carnage's Woody Harrelson, Game of Thrones and The Flight Attendant actor Michiel Huisman, and newcomer Miku Martineau.
Directing is The Huntsman: Winter's War filmmaker Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, while Deadpool 2 director David Leitch is one of the producers.
The film hits Netflix on September 10 and will also be released in selected cinemas.
What to Read Next
Winstead is, of course, no stranger to looking for revenge on the big screen, having played The Huntress/Helena Bertinelli in Birds of Prey opposite Margot Robbie.
In June, the actress welcomed her first child with her partner and Birds of Prey co-star Ewan McGregor.
The news was first shared in an Instagram post made by McGregor's oldest daughter, 25-year old Clara, where she showed herself cradling the baby and wrote: "Welcome to the world little brother (heart emoji) congratulations to my Dad & Mary - this is the greatest gift."
Kate streams on Netflix from September 10.
