Classic horror movie Suspiria is getting a 2016 makeover from Kick‑Ass star Chloe Grace Moretz.
Moretz has signed on for A Bigger Splash director Luca Guadagnino's re-imagining of Dario Argento's terrifying tale of an American ballet student attending a European conservatory that's hiding a blood-sucking secret.
This Suspiria remake will reunite director Guadagnino with his A Bigger Splash star Tilda Swinton, with the cast also including Fifty Shades of Grey's Dakota Johnson and Nymphomaniac star Mia Goth.
Amazon is producing this Suspiria revamp. Filming is supposed to begin in Italy this month, reports Variety.
Moretz signing up for such a major gig at the last minute is a bit of a surprise, since she famously cancelled all of her upcoming movies in September after a "Come to Jesus" moment.
"I pulled the plug on all my movies because I want to reassess who I am and find myself within my roles again," she told reporters at the Deauville American Film Festival.

"I'm realising that I can slow down."
Moretz is definitely no stranger to the horror genre, having scored childhood success in the Amityville Horror and Let the Right One remakes as well as Tim Burton's supernatural comedy Dark Shadows.
A remake of Suspiria has long been mooted in Hollywood, most famously by Our Brand is Crisis filmmaker David Gordon Green almost a decade ago.
Director Dario Argento's scary original Suspiria remains a classic of the horror genre and has inspired waves of ghoulish and gory copycats since its release in 1977.
