After a bit of confusion, it turns out that Bad Teacher and Charlie's Angels star Cameron Diaz has actually retired.

Actress Selma Blair recently said that Diaz had decided to call it quits while discussing a cast reunion for the film The Sweetest Thing, but later backtracked on the statement and jokingly said she was retiring from being Diaz's spokesperson.

Well now that cast reunion has actually been published online by Entertainment Weekly, and wouldn't you know it, Diaz says she is no longer acting.

"I'm literally doing nothing," Diaz told Blair and fellow co-star Christina Applegate, who said she wasn't working but is only 'semi-retired' because she has kids.

"That's so awesome," Diaz replied. "I'm totally down. I'm semi-retired, too, and I am actually retired, so I would love to see you ladies."

Both Diaz and Applegate do joke that they would easily come out of retirement in order to do a sequel/reboot to The Sweetest Thing, following the women in their older years — on the condition that they get to wear flats rather than heels.

What to Read Next

We wouldn't be surprised if Cameron also came back to play Princess Fiona in Shrek 5, if it ever gets made, that is. After all, a voice role isn't the same as being on a film set for weeks on end.

Now, let's watch the most iconic scene from The Sweetest Thing and prepare to never be able to listen to 'I'm Too Sexy' or 'Look What You Made Me Do' ever again:
