Benedict Cumberbatch has possibly, maybe, potentially hinted that the Marvel Cinematic Universe will introduce the Multiverse.
If Marvel is opening the door to the Multiverse, it means future films could introduce alternate versions of the heroes MCU fans have come to know and love.

Appearing on 'Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years – The Evolution of Heroes', one of the special features on Thor: Ragnarok's home release, Doctor Strange star Cumberbatch said:
"What we've seen happen within the Marvel Cinematic Universe is this ever-expanding couture of superheroes. And I think now we're at the stage where this universe, even within our world, has gotten quite crowded and it's just about to explode into other dimensions."
Yes, we may be taking his comment too literally, but it's not the first we've heard about the Marvel Multiverse...
