Halloween might be over for another year, but the scares aren't stopping as Paranormal Activity has begun rehearsals ahead of its West End debut. Ahead of the show opening next month, producers have confirmed the cast for the new stage show, as well as giving us our first look at what we might expect.

Paranormal Activity debuted last summer at Leeds Playhouse and recently opened at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, ahead of a North American tour. For the West End version, Melissa James, Pippa Winslow and Jackie Morrison are all reprising their roles from last year's Leeds run, and they're joined by Ronan Raftery, Cheyenne Dasri and Jake Solari.

Performances for Paranormal Activity begin at London's Ambassadors Theatre on Friday 5 December. The show is currently booking through to Saturday 28 March 2026 and you can buy tickets from the likes of ATG Tickets, LoveTheatre and TodayTix right now.

The live show is not a direct remake of the hit 2007 movie or its various sequels and instead tells a new story. It centres on James (Raftery) and Lou (James) who have moved from Chicago to London to escape their past, only to realise that it's not places that are haunted... it's people.

The show is directed by Felix Barrett, who is Punchdrunk's Founder and Artistic Director, and written by Levi Holloway. Its Leeds run in 2024 saw Paranormal Activity hailed as "truly terrifying" and a "genuinely thrilling event" by Dread Central.

"Paranormal Activity does what horror on the stage should do: it holds up a mirror to our fears whilst indulging in a splash of gore and special effects. Expect to experience the jolts of thrilling jump scares and to be frightfully entertained," they wrote.
