Former Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa could be joining the cast for the 2017 reboot of The Magnificent Seven.
Having already cast several heroic leads for the ensemble, director Antoine Fuqua is looking to Momoa as a potential villain.
Not much is known about Momoa's role, but according to The Hollywood Reporter he will be playing a 'heavy', with the main villain yet to be cast.
The upcoming movie will follow a young widow (Haley Bennett) hiring a group of gunslingers to protect her village from pillaging cowboys.
Should Momoa join the cast, he will appear alongside stars including Chris Pratt, Vincent D'Onofrio, Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke.
Besides Momoa, it was also announced yesterday by Deadline that Terminator Genisys star Byung-hun Lee has been cast in the role of Billy Rocks.
