Luca Guadagnino's new movie After The Hunt, starring Julia Roberts, Ayo Edebiri and Andrew Garfield, has finally landed a release date.
According to Variety, the psychological thriller will arrive in limited US cinemas on October 10 before expanding on October 17. A UK release date is TBC.
After the Hunt will star Roberts as a college professor who "finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when a star pupil (Edebiri) levels an accusation against one of her colleagues (Garfield)."

As she navigates the difficult situation, "a dark secret from her own past threatens to come to light."
Rounding out the ensemble are Michael Stuhlbarg and Chloë Sevigny, who previously collaborated with Guadagnino on his films Call Me By Your Name and Bones and All, respectively.

After The Hunt started pre-production back in July, with Edebiri confirming the news by sharing a photo of the cast at a table read to her Instagram page.

Edebiri, known for her award-winning role as Sydney Adamu in FX series The Bear, will next appear in horror movie Opus, which is scheduled to release in US cinemas this March.
The film follows a young writer who is invited to the remote compound of a legendary pop star who mysteriously disappeared 30 years ago.
Surrounded by the star’s cult of sycophants and intoxicated journalists, she soon finds herself in the middle of his twisted plan.
Edebiri has also been cast in upcoming movie Ella McCay, which she'll star in alongside Sex Education’s Emma Mackey, Jamie Lee Curtis, Woody Harrelson, Albert Brooks, Kumail Nanjiani, Spike Fearn and Slow Horses star Jack Lowden.
