Alison Oliver has joined the cast of Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights adaptation, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi.
The film reunites Oliver with both Fennell and Elordi, after previously starring in Fennell's 2023 hit Saltburn as Elordi's onscreen sister. Meanwhile, the psychosexual thriller was produced by Robbie's LuckyChap Entertainment, which is also backing this new adaptation of Emily Brontë's classic novel.
Wuthering Heights tells the story of two families living on the West Yorkshire moors, with the turbulent relationship between Catherine Earnshaw and her foster brother Heathcliff taking centre stage. Robbie and Elordi will play Cathy and Heathcliff, respectively.

According to Deadline, Oliver has been cast as the pair's wealthy neighbour Isabella Linton, who eventually marries Heathcliff.
The publication also reports that Magpie's Shazad Latif has been cast as Isabella's brother Edgar Linton, who goes on to marry Cathy, while The Night Agent star Hong Chau will play the film's chief narrator, Nelly Dean.

Wuthering Heights will mark Fennell's third collaboration with LuckyChap, which Robbie runs with her husband Tom Ackerley and Josey McNamara.
The production company previously produced Fennell's 2020 thriller Promising Young Woman, starring Carey Mulligan, and last year's Saltburn, starring Elordi and Barry Keoghan.
Wuthering Heights has seen multiple TV and film adaptations, most recently Andrea Arnold's 2011 movie starring Skins actor Kaya Scodelario opposite James Howson.
Meanwhile, an Emily Brontë biopic starring Sex Education's Emma Mackey was released in 2022. Emily set out to uncover what inspired the author's seminal work, which has long remained a mystery to biographers due to her short and reclusive life.
