Ubisoft has started the slow journey to fixing all of The Division's early release issues.

After a period of maintenance yesterday, the game has come back online with a few nips and tucks - and importantly, the door-blocking trolls have been fixed so they can no longer be the (surmountable) inconvenience they ended up being.

We haven't been able to check at the time of writing, but you would assume Ubisoft has also fixed the exploit by which players could get unlimited cash and crafting items. That is, unless it's actually a feature of the game created solely to keep you playing consistently for bloody ages.

The Divisionpinterest

The Division has also been changed so, at the game's opening, players no longer need to register on an in-game laptop in order to be able to play.

This was causing problems as players had to queue up to be able to play the game they'd bought. A very odd design choice, and blissfully now eliminated.

We're likely to see a lot more tweaks, fixes and bigger updates in coming months (and years), with The Division being something of an ongoing project for the publisher.
