The Affair has much more sexy romping in store for us.
Showtime officially renewed Dominic West and Ruth Wilson's Golden Globe Award-winning thriller for a fourth season at the TCA press tour, in addition to announcing premieres for new shows from Jim Carrey and Idris Elba.
The Affair's recommission comes three weeks before its third season will wrap up in the US on Sunday, January 29 at 10pm ET. Sky Atlantic airs the show in the UK.
Showtime president David Nevins also set the debut of Idris Elba's Guerrilla for Sunday, April 16 at 9pm ET.
Guerrilla - a co-production with Sky Atlantic - follows politically active lovers (Freida Pinto and Babou Ceesay) and their friends in 1970s London as a group of activists go head-to-head with a racist police force.
The political drama is the creation of Academy Award-winning 12 Years a Slave writer John Ridley, whose current TV show American Crime has won multiple Emmy Awards.
