When promoting a movie like Fifty Shades Freed, it has to be pretty tough to talk about the plot in front of a family-friendly audience.
But on The Late Late Show, James Corden figured it out, setting a pretty-gosh-darn-hilarious parody of the movie in the world of model trains. If Fifty Shades of Grey were rated PG, it would look a lot like this.
Corden takes the Christian part, while Dornan is more of an Ana. Like in Fifty Shades of Grey, Corden introduces Dornan to his "playroom", and lets him know he can leave at any time.
Dornan enters the room, looking shocked, and then we see what this playroom really is – not the red room of pain, but a literal playroom, filled with model train sets. "I'm a hobbyist," Corden says.
The words are spot-on from the actual Fifty Shades scene, and the new context makes it hilarious. Take a look at the original for reference:
Like Anastasia, Dornan is intrigued and decides to go along with it. Corden gives him a red bandana and a conductor's cap, and asks him to call him "Signal Master".

And then... they play with model trains! And maybe cuddle a bit. But that's it, because not everything Fifty Shades of Grey-related has to be dirty, OK?
But don't go as far as Dungeons and Dragons – don't be disgusting.
Fifty Shades Freed opens in UK and US cinemas this Friday (February 9).
