Adam Scott proved he has as much (or as little) chill as any of us when it comes to meeting your idols.

He was talking to guest host Kristen Bell on last night's (May 4) Jimmy Kimmel Live when he received an out-of-this-world surprise after mentioning how much of a Star Wars superfan he is.

Scott was recalling how he invited Mark Hamill to his 2nd birthday party around the time of The Empire Strikes Back, only for Hamill not to show (unsurprisingly)... at which point the Star Wars theme kicked in.

And he knew then that something was up.

It was only Luke Skywalker himself coming to greet him on the show, understandably leading to some fruity language from Scott: "No f**king way. Holy shit. This is unbelievable."

"I'm sorry I missed your birthday. I was checking my diary and that week, I had two other birthdays, a bar mitzvah and a supermarket opening," Hamill joked.

Scott wasn't holding back how much it meant to him either: "This really is one of the best moments of my entire life."

It wasn't the only surprise that Bell had lined up for her guest hosting stint as there was also an adorable proposal where she helped a high school student ask his classmate to prom.

Hamill has been busy pranking people other than Scott too, showing up to a 40th anniversary promo video shoot to recreate Star Wars scenes with unsuspecting fans.
