Frozen's Kristen Bell has helped make a high school student's dream come true like a classic Disney princess would.

Guest hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live last night (May 4) as he takes paternity leave, Kristen brought out student Sarah and sent her on Hollywood Boulevard dressed as Anna to find a Kristoff and bring him back to the studio.

What Sarah didn't know was that under that Kristoff costume was her classmate Michael, who wanted to ask her to the prom... even though they'd never been on a date before.

Awww.

And it only got more adorable from there.

"Sarah, there's something I wanted to ask you, but I didn't know the words, so Kristen Bell is going to help me," Michael explained.

But Kristen wasn't just going to say it, she was going to sing it, launching into Frozen's 'Do You Want To Build a Snowman?", albeit with changed lyrics to suit Michael's promposal.

"Do you want to be his prom date and go with Michael to the prom? Michael wants so much to go because if you say no, he'll have to take him mum. He knows you're just school buddies, but what the f**k, he thinks that you're really cute," she sang.

"He's asking you to be his prom date in front of millions of people. If you say no this will be awkward..."

Fortunately, Sarah said yes and saved Michael from a lifetime of trauma flashbacks any time he saw a Disney film or a late night chat show.

What's more, the two will receive a stretch limo to their prom, Sarah will be given a special prom makeover and Michael will get a tuxedo rental.

It certainly had a happier ending than when a US student tried to get Emma Stone to go to his prom by recreating La La Land.
