Only yesterday, Disney announced that it would refuse to conduct business in the state of Georgia if a new bill allowing religious groups to discriminate based on sexuality was passed by state governor Nathan Deal.
Now, Time Warner are joining Disney in urging the Republican Peach State Official to stop The Free Exercise Protection bill (aka Georgia Bill HB 757) going ahead.
In a statement Time Warner - which consists of companies HBO, Warner Bros and CNN - said this: "At Time Warner, diversity in all its forms is core to our value system and to the success of our business.
"We strongly oppose the discriminatory language and intent of Georgia's pending religious liberty bill, which clearly violates the values and principles of inclusion and the ability of all people to live and work free from discrimination."
AMC and Viacom have also stood proud in wanting to see HB 757 legislation - which would enable faith-based groups to use sexuality as a basis for refusing marriage services - terminated. It's nice to see the big guns doing their thing to come together against prejudice.
Nathan Deal has until May 3 to decide whether to sign the bill or not.
