New ABC comedy The Real O'Neals got a double-shot preview, ticking up from 1.8 (6.33m) at 8.30pm to 1.9 (6.01m) at 9.30pm between The Goldbergs' 2.1 (7.08m) at 8pm and Modern Family's 2.6 (8.22m) at 9pm.
American Crime continued with 0.8 (3.24m) at 10pm on ABC.
The Mysteries of Laura tied its season high of 1.2 (7.43m) at 8pm on NBC. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit rose one-tenth of a point to 1.6 (6.86m) at 9pm, while Chicago P.D. slid a tenth with 1.5 (7.17m) at 10pm.
An American Idol-less Wednesday on Fox had the return of Rosewood falling seven-tenths of a point from its average to 0.9 (3.52m) at 8pm. Hell's Kitchen grabbed 1.0 (3.38m) at 9pm.
Greatest Animal Commercials Countdown and the MADtv 20th Anniversary Reunion took 0.3 (1.46m) at 8pm and 0.3 (1.06m) at 9pm on The CW.
