The CBS reality competition fell six-tenths of a point from last fall, garnering 1.9 (8.30m) at 8pm. Code Black followed with 1.0 (6.04m) at 10pm.
Fox won the key 18-49 demographic overall with 1.6.
American Idol tied Survivor with 2.0 (8.29m) at 8pm on Fox, while Hell's Kitchen hit 1.2 (3.97m) at 9pm.
The Middle took 1.9 (7.29m) at 8pm on ABC, The Goldbergs equaled last week's 2.0 (6.39m) at 8.30pm, Modern Family's 2.4 (7.48m) at 9pm was down two-tenths, and Black-ish attracted 1.8 (5.74m) at 9.30pm.
At 10pm on ABC, American Crime pulled in 0.8 (3.18m).
