CBS has found its Lucy Lane for new comic book drama Supergirl.
Jenna Dewan-Tatum has been cast as Lois Lane's younger sister in the series on a recurring basis, reports The Wrap.
Her character is described as brash, funny and equally as successful as her older sister.
She will appear alongside Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin who decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and become Supergirl at the age of 24.
Lucy is also the ex-girlfriend of award-winning photojournalist Jimmy Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) and will apparently make her debut in episode three.
Supergirl - which is produced by Arrow and The Flash's Greg Berlanti and Family Guy's Allison Adler - premieres on CBS on October 26.
