Big news, Wednesday fans! Netflix has released new-look images of season 2, as well as a new trailer giving us a peek at Doctor Who's potential newest Doctor Billie Piper in her new role as Isadora Capri.
Isadora is Nevermore Academy’s new head of music, who's described as "brilliant, intense, and enigmatic". Her character bio also reveals: "She takes a special interest in Wednesday’s musical gifts and becomes a mentor to fellow werewolf Enid Sinclair."
As we see in the footage, Jenna Ortega's Wednesday Addams is back for another term at Nevermore, or as she calls it, "returning to the scene of the crime". Unfortunately for her, this time around, she's become a celebrity and has her own fan club of overenthusiastic groupies.
She also gets some new visions telling her of roommate Enid Sinclair's death, while there are some long-buried family secrets threatening to come to the fore.
Will her cutting one-liners and thousand-yard stare save the day, or will she die trying?

We've got plenty of other big names joining the cast for the new episodes in addition to Piper, too. Amongst the familiar faces are Absolutely Fabulous' Joanna Lumley, Back to the Future's Christopher Lloyd, Westworld's Thandiwe Newton and Monsters, Inc's Steve Buscemi.
The first season of Wednesday has become Netflix's most-watched English-language show of all time, so it's no surprise that the streaming service has decided to go big for season 2.

Lady Gaga even filmed a cameo for the new episodes, which Ortega described as "unbelievably cool".
"We couldn't believe that she actually showed up, even on the day," she told Film Updates. "I think it was a surreal feeling. But she is such a sweetheart - she's so kind and just an absolutely lovely presence to be around."
The star also teased that season 2 will have an "elaborate" slasher episode, calling it "insane", "bizarre", and "some of the most fun we've ever had" on the show.
Wednesday season 2 will release in two parts on Netflix on 6 August and 3 September.
