Ted Lasso is officially returning to screens for a fourth season, following doubts over the show's future.
Back in 2023, fans were devastated to learn that there wasn't going to be another season of the beloved Apple TV+ series past season three.
However, co-creator Bill Lawrence fuelled rumours of a fourth season being on its way last summer, with a return hinging on whether Jason Sudeikis would be up for reprising his role as the titular football coach.

It's now been officially confirmed that Ted Lasso is returning for another batch of episodes, with Sudeikis on board.
"As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to ‘look before we leap'," said the star, "in season four, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering that wherever they land, it’s exactly where they’re meant to be."

Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV+, added: "Ted Lasso has been nothing short of a juggernaut, inspiring a passionate fanbase all over the world, and delivering endless joy and laughter, all while spreading kindness, compassion and unwavering belief.
"Everyone at Apple is thrilled to be continuing our collaboration with Jason and the brilliant creative minds behind this show."
Warner Bros Television previously picked up options on stars Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca Walton), Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent) and Jeremy Swift (Leslie Higgins), so we can assume all three will return for season four.
Meanwhile, Nick Mohammed (Nate Shelley) recently softened the blow of having to move the dates of his tour by hinting that Ted Lasso season four is the reason behind the rescheduling.
Ted Lasso seasons 1-3 are available to stream on Apple TV+. Season 4 is on the way.
