Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special: BBC One, 7.50pm
At long last the wait is over, the 50th anniversary special episode of Doctor Who is so close we can almost reach out and touch the TARDIS (or Matt Smith's face, whichever is preferable).
Expect time travel, suspense and drama - not to mention guest stars aplenty including Billie Piper, Joanna Page and a little-known actor by the name of David Tennant...
The X Factor (10th Anniversary Special): ITV, 8pm
It's not just Doctor Who celebrating a big anniversary, this year is the tenth series of the biggest talent show in the country, and ITV just aren't letting us forget it.
This week each of the contestants will be performing hit singles by past X Factor contestants (we're sure there won't be a dry eye in the house as Sam Bailey takes on 'It's Chico Time') to celebrate 10 years of the show.
