Kieran Culkin has revealed his ideal character to lead a Succession spin-off series.
Speaking to Variety at last night's (January 7) Golden Globes Awards, the Roman Roy actor said another show following the Roy family would a "horrible idea" - unless it was led by one particular character.
"I feel a spin-off is a horrible idea," he told reporters when asked about the idea of a Succession spin-off.

"Remember Frasier? Yeah, we all loved Frasier, but not every show can be Frasier." Hit 90s sitcom Frasier was originally a spin-off of Cheers and continued the story of Kelsey Grammer's character Frasier Crane.

However, Culkin didn't rule out the idea of a spin-off series entirely, saying a show following Nicholas Braun's character Greg Hirsch could work.
"Cousin Greg would make a good spin-off show... That would be kind of fun," the actor said, adding that his character could occasionally show up for "entrance applause".
"That’s why I would do it," he added.
Culkin scooped up the award for Best Actor in a TV Drama at the awards ceremony, beating co-stars Jeremy Strong (Kendall Roy) and Brian Cox (Logan Roy) as well as The Last of Us star Pedro Pascal to the prize.

"Thanks to Succession, I have been [in this room] a couple of times," he said in his acceptance speech.
"It's nice but I accepted I was never going to be on the stage. So this is a nice moment."
Culkin wasn't the only Succession star to win either, with Sarah Snook (Shiv Roy) taking home the award for Best Actress in a TV Drama and Matthew Macfadyen (Tom Wambsgans) winning Best Supporting Actor.
Succession aired on HBO in the US, and is available on Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK.
