“Led by a scene-stealing turn from Kieran Culkin, A Real Pain is a powerfully funny, emotionally resonant dramedy that finds writer-director-star Jesse Eisenberg playing to his strengths on either side of the camera,” reads the site’s critical consensus.
Whilst Culkin enjoyed acclaim for A Real Pain, the Succession star is currently on the stage for the Broadway revival of Glengarry Glen Ross, in which he appears alongside Bob Odenkirk, Bill Burr and Michael McKean.
