Partner Track spoilers follow.

There’s nothing that makes more addictive TV than New York City lawyers having relationship dramas – so of course Partner Track was bound to become a hit.

But now we’ve blasted our way through the first 10 episode season on Netflix, the question now remains, where do things go from here for Ingrid, her colleagues and her love interests?

What to Read Next

Thankfully, you have us to tell you the latest.

Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming series.

Partner Track season 2 potential release date: When will it return to Netflix?

Unfortunately, there's currently no news regarding a potential season two of Partner Track – but we’re hopeful we’ll get some good news.

Bradley Gibson also wants a second season. Like, a lot.

"I hope the show continues," the actor said (via ScreenRant). "Please, please, please give us season two. We want it, people want it. I think that if it's not the situation of racism in the workplace, there are so many other issues that happen in the workplace that we probably will address, and I hope we do. I think that's the beauty of Partner Track, is you get this fabulous show with fantastic, sexy people.

"We get romance, but we also get teachable moments and moments that open your eyes and talk about things that we're dealing with as a society. Whether it be racism, whether it be sexism, whether it be homophobia, the list goes on and on and on.

"So I hope that we continue to talk about the topic of racism, but I also hope that we continue to talk about other matters that are so important to address."

Launching on August 26, the streaming service normally gives a 28-day window to monitor performance and viewership before making a decision on whether to continue forward.

That deadline has now passed, and we're still waiting.

Partner Track did make it into the top 10 on Netflix here in the UK, and climbed the charts in mainland Europe, Canada and the States as well, which is definitely potentially a good sign of things to come - let's hope the streamer's bean counters feel the same way.

So let’s hope the series, based on the book by Helen Wan, gets to come back for another session considering the success of its initial run (trial run…? We’re failing on the lawyer puns, sorry!)

Partner Track season 2 cast: Who will be back?

It’s too early to tell who will be back or not – but if it does return it’s a pretty safe bet that former Teen Wolf star Arden Cho will return as Ingrid Yun.

Then of course there's Dominic Sherwood, who plays Jeff Murphy. It seems a cert he’ll be around too.

Alexandra Turshen and Bradley Gibson, who play Ingrid’s workmates Rachel and Tyler, should be returning to the office too, as well as Nolan Gerard Funk as competitive lawyer Dan Fallon.

Partner Track season 2 plot: What will happen?

Just when you thought things couldn’t get more complicated, Ingrid was left furious after discovering her mission to get partner at Parsons Valentine & Hunt was derailed... by Jeff Murphy.

Seems the cutthroat competition has come for her in a big bad way, and while she has worked hard to rise among the ranks in the face of xenophobia, sexism and pure old bloodlust amongst her rival lawyers, it seems the sharks are still in the water.

None more so, it seems to her, than Jeff, with whom she's shared an on/off relationship with that resulted in her cheating on her boyfriend Nick with him during the first season's run.

But when the opportunity arose to get the edge on his competition, he took it, telling the partners that she had previously been arrested, thus breaking their trust in her and their desire to make her partner.

When it was first announced, she confronted Marty assuming it was her position as a Korean woman... but he then told her the truth about Jeff's betrayal.

This lovers story is definitely going to turn into one of rivals going forward.

Sorry guys, you may object all you want, but only a week after the series release there is very little opportunity for the show to go straight into season two.

However, keep checking in here and we’ll give you all the details we can possibly give you as and when it happens.

Court dismissed.
