Ozark season 4 spoilers ahead.
A trailer for the second part of Ozark's fourth and final season has seemingly confirmed that Ruth Langmore shoots Omar Navarro's nephew Javi Elizonndro.
The first leg's closing episode, directed by none other than Robin Wright (she played Claire Underwood in House of Cards), saw rising cartel figure Javi execute Ruth's cousin Wyatt and his drug-dealing lover Darlene Snell.

Ruth (Julia Garner) then vowed to exact revenge as Marty Byrde pleaded with her to rethink.

In the trailer itself – viewable at the top of this article – Ruth attends Wyatt's funeral as Marty tells his wife Wendy: "She's lost her whole family because she met us..."
Further along, he remains insistent that Javi's death would signal the falling apart of all of their achievements.
"Welcome to my f**king world," Ruth hits back, before she's seen blasting two bullets into Javi from close range in broad daylight.
Judging by the rest of the footage, this twist has many repercussions for the family at the centre of the Netflix hit, who now find themselves in even more danger than before.

Julia Garner, whose role as Ruth has garnered (pun absolutely intended) two Primetime Emmy Awards, previously teased the drama to come.
"It's always funny because, by the time it comes out, I forget how intense it was," she said.
"It gets more intense. It gets very intense. The ending of season [4], the first half, was just the beginning of the intensity, that ending."
Ozark seasons 1-4 are now available to stream on Netflix, with the second part of the fourth due out April 29.
