Netflix have provided a first look at new thriller Carry-On, starring Kingsman's Taron Egerton and Ozark's Jason Bateman.
The streamer has provided a new trailer titled 'Next on Netflix 2024: The Series & Films Preview', which teases what is to come on the platform this year.
Not many details have been revealed about Carry-On just yet, but we do know that it follows Egerton as Ethan Kopek, a young TSA agent who "gets blackmailed by a mysterious traveller (Bateman) to let a dangerous package slip through security and onto a Christmas Day flight".

The film was first announced back in 2022 and is directed by Jungle Cruise's Jaume Collet-Serra with a script by T.J. Fixman.
Viewers only get a very brief glimpse of Carry-On in the new clip, but Egerton's character can be seen sprinting through an airport, giving an idea of just how action-packed it will be.
There is also a first look at Bateman in the film, as well as Descendants star Sofia Carson who is also part of the cast.

It is not known yet when this year Carry-On will be released, but the Christmas setting means that towards the end of 2024 might be a good guess.
Carry-On is part of the huge line-up of films coming to Netflix in 2024, many of which were previewed in the trailer.
This includes sci-fi thriller Atlas starring Jennifer Lopez, fantasy Damsel which has Millie Bobby Brown as the lead, and comedy Back in Action with Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz at the helm.

Fans will also be treated to Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scar Giver, after the first instalment was released at the end of last year.
The slate of new films is alongside upcoming series such as Black Doves, Eric and Griselda, plus much-anticipated new seasons of Squid Game, Bridgerton, Outer Banks and The Diplomat.
Carry-On will be released on Netflix in 2024.
