The Umbrella Academy star David Castañeda has opened up about a big moment in the trailer for season two of the Netflix series.
Ahead of season two's premiere this week, the show's trailer featured Castañeda's character Diego Hargreeves being forced to hit himself in the face by Allison Hargreeves (Emmy Raver-Lampman).
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy about the moment, the actor recalled: "We shot that moment a few times. There was one where I clipped myself in the nose and I did hit myself. I have a feeling that's the one they used.
"It looked really damn close to my nostril."

Meanwhile, co-star Robert Sheehan previously spoke to us about playing his character Klaus Hargreeves in season two, admitting he "beat himself up" over his performance.

"I was worried, because Klaus spends a lot of time in the past," he explained. "Arguably, the most stuff happens to him. He's there the longest before the show picks up in '63.
"I wanted the audience, when they first see him, to be like, 'Wait, is this the same person?' But to obviously have the kind of Klaus elements.

"I beat myself up a little bit because the first two or three months, I was like, 'No, I haven't made him different enough. I haven't made him different enough. I've sort of fallen back into the kind of riding-a-bike style intuition of playing him. Have I evolved him enough?'"
However, he managed to look back at some footage, adding: "And I went, 'Oh, no'. Actually, I was quite pleased.
"So I felt quite happy. But that was my challenge. It was all going on inside my own head, you know? As it often is."
The Umbrella Academy season 2 arrives on Netflix on July 31.
