Marvel fans were devastated when the Netflix range of MCU shows were axed one by one (except for Iron Fist, of course) – thankfully, though, the actors in the shows have been landing on their feet.
As reported by TVLine, CBS have been busy picking up a handful of shows, one of a which is a "psychological mystery that examines science versus religion and the origins of evil", called... Evil.
Coming from The Good Wife writers Robert and Michelle King, Evil will see a forensic psychologist team up with a priest-in-training and a blue collar worker to investigate supernatural stuff. Think possessions and miracles and the like.

Getting to the point, Luke Cage actor Mike Colter was cast as the priest character for the pilot a few months back, and with the show getting a series, it's a full-time role for him. Yay!
Colter previously spoke about the cancellation of his Marvel Cinematic Universe show, stating: "I am forever grateful to Marvel and Netflix for letting me portray such a prolific character, and I thank you amazing fans.
"As one door closes, another has opened, with the birth of my daughter this week. A lot of great memories. Time to make more. Always forward, forward always."
Talking about other pilots which have been picked up for full shows, former The Walking Dead star Tom Payne's crime series Prodigal Son has also been given the greenlight.
