The Leftovers will come to an end in 2017 with one last batch of episodes.
The HBO drama also welcomes Tony and Olivier Award winner Lindsay Duncan - a veteran of Doctor Who and Rome - as a member of its ensemble for its final season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Last December, HBO announced that it would end The Leftovers with a third and final season - where the setting will once again shift.
After basing its first run in a sleepy New York community and moving to Texas for season two, the final year will travel across the world to Australia.
Newcomer Duncan is to be surrounded by veterans of The Leftovers, as Justin Theroux, Christopher Eccleston, Scott Glenn, Amy Brenneman, Regina King and Janel Moloney will all be back.
Liv Tyler also recently confirmed to Digital Spy that she will return for Leftovers' last go-around.
