Married at First Sight stars Jacqui Burfoot and Rhi Disljenkovic clashed as the latest dinner party came to a heated conclusion.
The pair, who are partnered in the experiment with Ryan Donnelly and Jeff Gobbels respectively, have had a fractious relationship over the past few weeks, with their animosity starting after Jacqui had privately texted Jeff.
The subsequent commitment ceremony saw Rhi and Jeff refer to an “external heaviness” in their relationship when speaking to the experts, a remark that Jacqui deemed an attempt to “humiliate” her.
The topic reared its head once more at the latest dinner party, with Jacqui saying in the VT that she was sick of “being a doormat” after what she claimed was “disrespect”. After saying her piece to Rhi, the room seemed confused by her gripes.
“Keep digging yourself,” replied Rhi, before she added in the VT, “I haven’t done anything to start this. It’s impossible to understand her. She cannot let things go. I want to put this behind us.”

After Jacqui responded by saying that Rhi had started the whole drama, Jeff interjected and defended his wife, saying to Jacqui: “You started this when you text me behind your husband’s and my wife’s back.”
Rhi eventually quashed the matter by apologising to Jacqui, who shared in the VT that she was “happy” with how the evening played out. As she sat grinning at the table, several of the other brides remarked upon her actions - is the beef over for good?
The cast of the show weren’t the only ones confused by Jacqui’s decision to bring up the topic once more, with several fans of the show noting their surprise at the latest turn of events on social media.

“I’m actually so genuinely, truly, seriously, astronomically confused, baffled and flabbergasted by Jacqui and everything she says and does #MAFSAU #MAFSAustralia” wrote a second fan, with a third noting that Rhi was a “better person” than they would be.
“Jacqui is my type of delusional #MAFSAU” wrote a fourth fan who was amused by the argument, with a fifth echoing previous sentiments as they asked “how!!” Rhi was the one who had to apologise.
