This Morning regular Jordon Cox has landed a new role on rival daytime show Shop Smart, Save Money.

Known on-screen as the 'Coupon King', bargain hunter Jordon has a regular slot on This Morning in which he shares money-saving tips and deals.

It's now been announced that the star has landed a similar role on rival show Shop Smart, Save Money, which airs on Channel 5.

The news was announced by hosts Gaby Roslin and Ortis Deley in a video shared to the show's official Instagram page, which was captioned: "Did you spot our newest presenter? @couponkiduk - bargain hunter extraordinaire will be with us each week to give you some brilliant money saving tips!"

In the clip, Gaby shared: "And now we're handing over to a brand new member of our team, our roving reporter Jordon Cox, whose made his name with his bargain hunting social media videos."

Commissioned by Channel 5, Shop Smart, Save Money shares some of the tips and tricks that can help British shoppers get the very best value for their money, with presenters heading out into the public to offer up cash-saving advice.

In other This Morning news, host Alison Hammond recently launched a star-studded new podcast titled Smart TV.

The show sees Alison and comedian Matt Crosby sitting down with guests to discuss their perfect night in front of the box, such as what they'd watch and what snacks they'd have.

Speaking about the podcast, Alison said: "I am absolutely BUZZING to share my brand-new podcast, Smart TV! I'm teaming up with the brilliant Matt Crosby to chat all things telly – drama, reality, and everything in between!"

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
