Derry Girls star Siobhan McSweeney is set to host an Irish version of hit reality TV series The Traitors.
The spin-off will air on Irish broadcaster RTE One, with the channel's official X and Instagram accounts teasing it will be coming to screens "very soon" in 2025.
The post also featured a video of McSweeney, who plays Sister Michael on Derry Girls, pulling back the hood of her hooded blanket to reveal her identity.

According to The Standard, the series will be filmed on location in Ireland, with 22 contestants from across the country competing to win a chunk of a €50,000 prize pot.
"Like everyone, I am a huge Traitors fan so when I was asked to host the Irish version I jumped at the chance," McSweeney said of her new role.

The Traitors UK has already aired two seasons and will return for a third on New Year's Day.
"Start the new year with a bang," host Claudia Winkleman said in a recently released teaser for the third instalment, which will welcome a new cast of strangers to play the ultimate game of detection in the hopes of winning up to £120,000.
The format will follow the same release schedule as previous seasons, with episodes broadcasting in batches of three, airing on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights.
The Traitors Ireland will air on RTE One early next year. The Traitors UK will return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer on January 1, 2025.
