X Factor fever has gone global. There's only 12 days until the seventh series starts back on ITV1 in the UK, but we're not the only ones eagerly awaiting the show's return. Excitement is already building ahead of the first US series, which doesn't even start until autumn 2011, while in Australia the Seven Network has started heavily advertising the revamped Down Under version of the talent show.

With Natalie Imbruglia, Boyzone's Ronan Keating, DJ Kyle Sandilands and singer Guy Sebastian on the judging panel alongside Matthew Newton on hosting duties, the 2010 Oz incarnation looks likely to be a bigger success than a flop first attempt at the show in 2005. With Simon Cowell taking a particular interest in the success of his brand this time around and some of the most OTT promos you will ever see, we're almost a bit jealous that we're not Australian.
