Scrotal Recall's Flynn and Siblings star Ben Ashenden will play brothers Toby and Dan, while Scott Folan plays their younger brother Jamie.

Ellie Taylor and Gemma Chan will also appear in the half-hour comedy, written by newcomers Patrick Carr and Paul McKenna.

Comedy Central's Lourdes Diaz said: "Last year we announced Comedy Central International's strategy to commission multi-camera sitcoms for a global audience.

"Brotherhood is the first to come through our development pipeline and I am thrilled it's going into series production. Paul and Patrick have written a fantastic series that will resonate with our core 16-34 audience and the cast is absolutely spot-on!"
