The BBC has released the first trailer for new drama Press, which has been written by Mike Bartlett, the man behind the brilliant Doctor Foster, King Charles III and a play called Cock (can you guess what that one is about?).

Press focuses on the two publications – broadsheet newspaper The Herald and tabloid newspaper The Post – and the people who work for them.

The characters struggle with the pressures of working in an unstable industry, whether to be credible or sensational, truthful or deceitful, etc. Of course, there will be plenty of personal drama too.

As well as the intriguing premise, the Beeb has rounded up an impressive cast to bring Bartlett's newest drama to life.

Working for The Herald are two actors from King Charles III, Charlotte Riley and Priyanga Burford. Meanwhile, The Post will be run by The Thin Red Line's Ben Chaplin, joined by A Midsummer Night's Dream's Paapa Essiedu and Happy Valley's Shane Zaza.

We've also got not only one but two Game of Thrones alumni in the cast. Brendan Cowell (who played Theon Greyjoy's mate Harrag in season seven) will play the Deputy Editor of The Herald, while Ellie Kendrick (who was Meera Reed) is playing a junior reporter.
