Tonight saw the premiere of the new adaptation of Robert Galbraith's (aka JK Rowling) Strike novels, The Cuckoo's Calling – and Rowling herself is delighted with the BBC drama.
Cormoran Strike is a former British military policeman who lost a leg in Afghanistan and is now struggling to make a living as a private detective in London.
Speaking to Radio Times, Rowling revealed just how happy she is with Tom Burke's portrayal of main character Strike.

"He's got all of the physicality of the part. It's very important," she said.
"The character's an amputee, it's physically difficult at times for him to move, to walk, to navigate.

"Tom does it amazing justice and he's extremely convincing as this wounded soldier."
Rowling also addressed her decision to write the Strike novels under a different name, saying that she wanted to free herself "from all of the baggage that comes with being me".
"I wanted it to just be about the writing," she explained. "I wasn't trying to trick anyone or fool anyone, but I certainly hoped I'd be able to get three books out of Robert before anyone knew."
That might not have been the case, but at least we now know who to thank for bringing us such a fantastic story.
Strike continues tomorrow (August 28) at 9pm on BBC One – in the meantime, check out what we thought of the "absorbing" first episode.
