Taskmaster star Mae Martin has announced a surprise career move.
The comedian, who won the show in 2023 and is also well known for Netflix comedy series Feel Good, shared on Instagram that they are releasing music.
Posting a snippet of a song called 'Good Dream', Martin teased an album on the way, writing: "My earnest music album I’m A TV is coming soon. Pre-save in bio."

The artwork has also been unveiled, showing the star with their back to the camera while lying on the floor and looking at their reflection on a TV set.
Fans shared their praise in the comments, one writing: "You're so cool. Congratulations on this recent endeavor, I can't wait to listen."

Martin has a busy workload coming up, with the star set to appear in a new Netflix show called Wayward.

The series is set in a pleasant and sinister town and will focus on the "troubled teen industry" and the struggles between generations.
Alongside Martin, who is also on board as a showrunner, Wayward will star Ferrari's Sarah Gadon and The Rookie's Brandon Jay McLaren.
Last year, the comedian went official with girlfriend Parvati Shallow, who previously appeared on reality series Survivor, sharing the news in a post and writing: "Parv's here, she's queer, Happy New Year."
The couple have since delighted fans by sharing more sweet loved-up photos together.
